Indonesia Nature Trip. Day 5-6: Ciwidey & Bandung

A winding road ahead while riding the shuttle bus Our travelling continued with 2nd nature day trip to Ciwidey province further 50 km from Bandung. The first stop is the Kawah Putih, a striking lake formed in a volcano crater. We left for Ciwidey early in the morning, but only managed to arrive almost at noon due to heavy traffic. Once arrived at the main gate, we have to leave our van at the main car park and catch one of those orange mini shuttle bus that brought us another 5km to the crater. The entrance ticket to this crater was RP 20,000 per person and can be bought at the main gate.

Indonesia Nature Trip. Day 4: Lembang

Tangkuban Perahu is one of those recommended trip, situated about 30 km from Bandung. A volcano that last erupted in 1983, we descended from the edge of the crater to the boiling mud on the hot surface. It is, actually, not so many tourist going down, but we dared enough to explore the crater, The experience, nothing can beat the atmosphere and in fact we were enjoying the 'crater spa' at the Kawah Domas.

Indonesia Nature Trip. Day 1-3: Bandung

One should try their menus. Taking a stroll-down-memory-lane post, yup, it should be the first among our previous holiday trips. I would like to capture all the memories that we had gone throughout our journey. This time recalling our days when we were visiting the capital of West Java, Bandung on December 16-21. We arrive at Husein Sastranegara Airport in the late afternoon and was picked up by our tour guide. Nothing much we can do on the first day except that we had our dinner at the fast food restaurant on the way to our hotel. We stay at Fave Hotel located in old town Braga. The next day, we had lunch at Kedai Belacan and we got to see the city of Bandung by car through the crowded streets. We just passed by  Sate House building , Asia-Africa conference building and Dutch colonial residence areas. In fact, we do not have the opportunity to take photos against the backdrop of the historic building.
