Fraser Hill Weekend Trip. A quick one...

Stop over at Sungai Selangor dam.
We succeed to book the Rumah Peranginan Perseketuan months earlier using the new system. It was quite troublesome as my wife need to make the payment at Putrajaya as opposed to the old online payment system. Anyway, the bungalow is really big coming with all the necessities. Let me share ours short retreat away from the bustling city on the November 27-29, It was short 2 hours drive, but really challenging when we uphill. The small and winding road made my drive difficult.

The bungalow
It was foggy in the evening
We got up late on the Saturday morning and had our own breakfast in the room. It was sunny that day and I didn't plan earlier for any activities or whatsoever, So, I just did my google search looking for attractions and things that we can do. We bump into the tourist information center that was about 2.5km from our stay. A small town with several public amenities and nearby hotel make this town alive.

The Police Station built in 1919.
The main landmark
On the left is Selangor, and Pahang on the right

Nice and peaceful town
Our horse riding activities at the Paddock and several water activities at the Allan's.

Not so many horses in the stable.

It was 15 minute water bicycle ride
The water ball
Later in the afternoon, we plan to have picnic at Jeriau waterfall, however, due to the rainy season, all the waterfall and trail were closed for public safety. There is actually plenty of jungle trails suit to every level of difficulties, where you can get the information at the tourist center.

The mini golf activities
That's all folks for now. Wait for our next trip in a couple of days...

Journey Review

Thinking of the same idea as what Zarin did in his wrapping up post, I'll do the same for the sake of my own record.  This post will be updated from time to time. Some of the trip may have a  specific write-up  and you may click on the travelling month. Here is the world travel map, courtesy of TripAdvisor. A bit of Statistics: Total countries visited = 22/195 [Last updated : September 2023] Our Travel Map. [Courtesy of TripAdvisor. According to them, we only covered 13% of the Earth at the moment :P .... still long way to go and we didn't show USA map as to when we will be there]

Singapore Trip: A lion-city escapade

Watch out! It is a zika-free :P trip to the city of light that we had on the 2nd mid-term school holiday, apart from the 'balik kampung' to Ipoh and JB on both week end. My wife managed to secure a stay for 2 nights at the 'Rumah Peranginan Persekutuan' where it supposed to be a big family trip with my siblings.  It was a big vacation house, which I believe can cater at least 15-20 people. For some reasons, they had to turn it down. Note: Pictures taken are not in the best quality as I'm still get my hands on the new DSLR camera.. wink.. wink..

Shopping sakan di Langkawi

Kenangan bersama mak... Bulan januari yang lepas, rombongan keluarga Perak buat trip ke Melaka. Sekarang giliran keluarga Johor pulak pegi berjalan.. errr bershopping sakan di Langkawi. Kalau nak diikutkan, gambar tengah syiok bershopping lagi banyak.
