South Korea Winter Trip. Day 1: Kuala Lumpur to Incheon

It was a mostly bumpy ride throughout that rattled my wife! Nonetheless, the late-night Air Asia flight descended into Incheon International Airport at half past seven in the morning. And we had to catch another flight to Jeju Island in the afternoon.

We had barely 4 hours left before the Jeju Air flight took off from Gimpo International Airport in Seoul. The easiest mode would be the 45-minute airport rail from the Incheon airport. Instead of the planned Sinpo Market, we went to Lotte Mall, located just beside the Gimpo airport.

We had a couple of hours before the next flight.

Nope... This was definitely not the flight we were looking for!

There we were. We were situated in the southern region of the Korean Peninsula. Jeju for real! An hour 7C111 Jeju flight touched down the 2nd largest airport and Jeju is well-known as the popular tourists destination. We took a cab to Hana Hotel in Seogwipo City, in the southern part of Jeju Island. Later in the evening, my wife presented her technical paper at the CSA conference located in the Jeju International Convention Center.
