| I was here, HK airport! |
We went for a holiday to China between October 18 and 28, 2013. Our holiday often will visit at most 3 cities where we will be staying at least two nights in each place. Historic sites, museums, landmarks, and so on are places that not only do we visit, but we will explore the best possible, given that we have the opportunity to be there. As has been said, tourists take pictures; the travelers keep the memories. :P
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
We landed at Chek Lap Kok airport in the late Friday evening. Flight MH432 to Hong Kong took nearly 4 hours, and it has the same time zone as Malaysia. No jet lag or anything, but we still feel the fatigue of travel. Anyhow, a brisk immigration procedure at the HK airport made things easier. We had booked in advance a round-trip Vigor's shuttle bus that cost HKD $103 for 3 persons. The ride crossed Lantau Island and Kowloon before reaching Hong Kong Island.

| It was raining heavily at KLIA; I had a lasagna and a cup of coffee |
 |
| The hotel's front desk was so glittering |
The room was rather cramped for three of us. Considering its location to the city center and nearby Hong Kong's MTR subway station, the Best Western hotel wasn't bad at all. We had to walk to the
Sheung Wan station for about 25 minutes, and it'd be interesting if we could truly blend with the locals.

| Am I lost? |
 |
| It was early in the morning, but seems like MRT station not so busy |
 |
| On our way to the HK tower! |
HK may be geographically small, but seeing it all in one day is tough. Kowloon itself has so many things to do/visit, and so we only managed to explore the central city only. Obviously, we give a pass to HK Disneyland. Really hope that we can make a comeback and have a day trip to Macau.
We had purchased in advance; the 3-in-1 combo tickets cost HKD $778, which includes entrance to Madame Tussauds and Sky Terrace 428, as well as the Peak Tram return tickets. We were so lucky; it was a long queue at the ticket counter. It saves us a lot of times!

| Woohoo... What a long queue! |
 |
| It is something like Bukit Bendera rides |
Upon arriving at the Peak Tower station, Nu'man refused to get into Madame Tussauds once he saw Bruce Lee's wax figure. Oh boy... It's just a real-like mannequin! Over 100 wax figures were exhibited and each one looks so real. At least, there were at least two kids' zones, like the kung-fu zone and the fantasy zone. And then we spent almost until noon at the Peak Galleria and the 428 Sky Terrace. It is the highest viewing platform.
The panoramic view across Hong Kong was simply splendid!
 |
| At least Nu'man was smiling at Kids Zone. |
 |
| It looks like a pot, does it? |

| It was a Halloween season! |
 |
| Looking for a better view... |
 |
| I love you! |

| Stunning view from the top |
Touted as the longest people mover in the world, the Mid-Level escalators runs down to the lower part of the Victoria Peak. We gave a chance to walk down starting from the neighborhood and found mane souvenirs shop and food stall along that way. The central Mid-Level escalators runs downhill for 800
metres. There were several galleries on Stanton street that we skipped, but we did stop at the Jamia mosque to rest.
