Japan Summer Trip. Day 3: Kobe

The Japanese breakfast meal is so delicious
I woke up early on the 3rd day and used the self-laundry service provided by the hotel. We were provided with two choices of main breakfast along with simple buffet-style add-on. We chose a western meal on the first day of stay and Japanese meal on the next day.

Takamatsu was our next destination. Before heading to the city, we stopped at Kobe city to visit Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlet

The washer and dryer cost 100 yen each
The Shin-osaka station is the terminal for JR, Hankyu Railway and Midosuji Line
One of the Shinkansen
The Shinkansen took us to the Shinkobe station from Shinosaka in 15 minutes. Initially we planned to visit Kobe mosque once we return back for Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlet. Not to mention on how many shopping bags I am holding on and simply the time does not permit, we reached the Takamatsu station in the late evening.

Behind us is the Shinkansen Nozomi
This is our second bullet train ride after China
We kept our small luggage at the Shin-Kobe station while we went for shopping at the premium outlet. I can't recall how much the cost is
The Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlet located quite far from the city center. We took Shinkasen Nozomi towards Sanda. Stopped at Shinkobe station and changed to Kitagami Kyuko Line (Green colour train). Then, stopped at Tanigami station and change to Kobe Electric Railway Mita Line (Red colour train) towards Sinkaichi. We stopped at Dojominamiguchi Station and ride a taxi to Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlet.

This is the Kitagami Kyugo Line
Dojominamiguchi station looks like an old station
Ting! Ting! Ting! The train is coming...
Bicycles are everywhere
We spent almost half of the day for our ultimate shopping at Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets. It is a big outlet compared to Rinku Premium Outlet. Big names such as Gucci, Prada etc having a remarkable discount apart from duty free shopping for tourists. I myself got pairs of jeans, shoe and shirts.

It is the weekend and we expected a large crowd since Hari Raya is in 2 months time.. :-P
Not so many shoppers today
Some of the outlets available
We were so tempted with the crepes
Then, it was time to go to Takamatsu city, where our conference were held. We arrived at late evening so we made our way to JR Clement Hotel Takamatsu, It just 5 minutes walk from the station exit.

Journey Review

Thinking of the same idea as what Zarin did in his wrapping up post, I'll do the same for the sake of my own record.  This post will be updated from time to time. Some of the trip may have a  specific write-up  and you may click on the travelling month. Here is the world travel map, courtesy of TripAdvisor. A bit of Statistics: Total countries visited = 22/195 [Last updated : September 2023] Our Travel Map. [Courtesy of TripAdvisor. According to them, we only covered 13% of the Earth at the moment :P .... still long way to go and we didn't show USA map as to when we will be there]

Singapore Trip: A lion-city escapade

Watch out! It is a zika-free :P trip to the city of light that we had on the 2nd mid-term school holiday, apart from the 'balik kampung' to Ipoh and JB on both week end. My wife managed to secure a stay for 2 nights at the 'Rumah Peranginan Persekutuan' where it supposed to be a big family trip with my siblings.  It was a big vacation house, which I believe can cater at least 15-20 people. For some reasons, they had to turn it down. Note: Pictures taken are not in the best quality as I'm still get my hands on the new DSLR camera.. wink.. wink..

Shopping sakan di Langkawi

Kenangan bersama mak... Bulan januari yang lepas, rombongan keluarga Perak buat trip ke Melaka. Sekarang giliran keluarga Johor pulak pegi berjalan.. errr bershopping sakan di Langkawi. Kalau nak diikutkan, gambar tengah syiok bershopping lagi banyak.
