Southern Thailand Trip. Day 1-2: Ao Nang Beach

I've been told by the taxi driver that took us to Ao Nang that it is more expensive to book the trip at the airport. However, it was the same price upon checking with abundant local agencies in Ao Nang. Anyway, the private transfer from the airport to Ao Nang costs us THB 600, and there is an option of a bus ride for THB 150/person.

On the morning of the second day, my wife presented her paper at the ADVCIT conference located in Deevana Plaza, about a 5-minute walk away. I took this chance to walk around that area looking for the way to the Ao Nang beach. Somehow, Nu'man hesitated to walk further. Interestingly, I found an advertisement for the Muay Thai contest held on Friday evening. Thinking of booking the seats; probably I need to prior check with my wife's interest. Two options are available: THB 1500 for an inner ring seat or THB 1000 for an arena seat.

In late afternoon, we took tuk-tuk ride to Aonang beach that costs THB 30/person. We spent that evening walking along the beach watching the sunset and stop by the abundant souvenir shop. We had our dinner at Ban Lay seafood Krabi, as recommended by TripAdvisor, and even we made a come back on the final night.
