We took our sweet time on breakfast that day and only arrived in Dubai at noon. We initially planned to join the Jumeirah Mosque tour, hosted by the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU), to learn about Emirati culture and religion in a relaxed, casual, and open atmosphere at this landmark mosque. We missed the tour, as we had to be there by 9.45 am, but we did join another tour, the Heritage Tour; that one comes in the last post for this trip.
We planned to visit the Burj Khalifa the following day. But then, we couldn't find any parking slots in the Deira area, so we proceeded to the Dubai Mall. Among the interesting places to visit in Deira are the Gold Souk, Spice Souk, Al Ahmadiya School, and the Heritage Village. That's another reason to make a comeback! Nu'man implored us to visit Kidzania but we were not keen; we rather think that Dubai Aquarium was not bad for family activities.

The Dubai Mall was really expensive expansive
We also booked the Dubai Creek Dinner Cruise in the evening, yup! you're right! Dinner on the boat while cruising on the river. Most of our trip will include at least a boat trip, but this time comes with a buffet dinner. There was a Tanoura Dance show that was really electrifying (you'll know what I meant after watching the video below...). We really enjoyed our moment that night, though the food was a bit out of our expectation.

I will follow Zarin's example from his wrapping-up post and do the same for my own record. This post will be updated from time to time. Our trip to Malé, Maldives, was a mix of excitement and relaxation. From smooth flights to scenic speedboat rides, we had a wonderful time exploring Maafushi Island. This journey gave us peaceful sunsets, tasty meals, and the chance to soak up the beauty of this tropical paradise. We started our journey early in the morning at Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). Our flight was scheduled for 10:20 am with Batik Air, flight number OD 293. The check-in process was smooth, and we were ready for the adventure ahead. The flight took 4 hours and 25 minutes, crossing over the stunning Indian Ocean. We landed at Velana International Airport (MLE), Male, around 1 pm local time. The view from the plane as we approached Male was breathtaking—clear blue waters and tiny islands dotting the ocean. After landing in Male, we headed to counter 13 for the Kaani Speed Boat service. It’s an efficient way to get from Male to nearby islands like Maafushi. We boarded at around 2 pm for ...
I was here, HK airport! We went for a holiday to China between October 18 and 28, 2013. Our holiday often will visit at most 3 cities where we will be staying at least two nights in each place. Historic sites, museums, landmarks, and so on are places that not only do we visit, but we will explore the best possible, given that we have the opportunity to be there. As has been said, tourists take pictures; the travelers keep the memories. :P oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo We landed at Chek Lap Kok airport in the late Friday evening. Flight MH432 to Hong Kong took nearly 4 hours, and it has the same time zone as Malaysia. No jet lag or anything, but we still feel the fatigue of travel. Anyhow, a brisk immigration procedure at the HK airport made things easier. We had booked in advance a round-trip Vigor's shuttle bus that cost HKD $103 for 3 persons. The ride crossed Lantau Island and Kowloon before reaching Hong Kong Island. It was raining heavily at KLIA; I ha...
