This post will be full of white! Yup, it is snowy in Chimgan.
Early in the morning after breakfast, we headed to the railway station and then embarked on the Afrosiyob to Tashkent at 6.45 am. Coach no. 5 was where all our group sat. The journey took around 2 hours, passing several provinces. When we were approaching Tashkent, we saw some of the villages were covered with snow, indicating that it was even cooler here!

There was a Railway Museum in front of the central station
The bus then headed to Beldersey Resort in Chimgan passing through the mountain and Charvak lake for about 2 hours. The views were magnificent, blue and white along the way. Half way, our bus were stopped by the police and we were not allowed to go further up. Mr Ilham said that the mountain is observed and monitored by the authority for safety reasons. If the road condition is prone to danger, public were not allowed to passing through, especially for coach bus. So our bus made turn and continued using other road.
The Chimgan Mountain
AlhamdulilLah we made it and arrived at one of the resort, but it's actually not a ski resort. There were bunch of souvenir shops and cafe. We took the chance to ride the chair lift cable to the mountain. The feeling?? I can't described how nervous I am when my wife and I were on the chair. It's like... is this safe?? Hahahhaa... Anyhow, we managed to get to the top and enjoyed the splendid view of the snowy mountain!
Our heart start to pounding when we saw the chair lift!
Not so bright sunlight

Spectacular view of Chimgan Mountain
After half an hour, we went down. Nu'man had a chance to play with the ski slopes.
It costs 20,000 SOM for 30 minutes rental
After we had lunch at Farovon Bochka Restaurant, we back to the Uzbekistan Hotel, the same hotel on our first night. My wife and I were so exhausted and we decided not to go out for dinner. Nu'man on the other hand joined the dinner at one of the local restaurant. This was the final night in Uzbekistan... how times flies!
Small stall selling local delicacies in front of the restaurant
There used to be a water fountain but now it's covered with snow

Our trip to Malé, Maldives, was a mix of excitement and relaxation. From smooth flights to scenic speedboat rides, we had a wonderful time exploring Maafushi Island. This journey gave us peaceful sunsets, tasty meals, and the chance to soak up the beauty of this tropical paradise. We started our journey early in the morning at Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). Our flight was scheduled for 10:20 am with Batik Air, flight number OD 293. The check-in process was smooth, and we were ready for the adventure ahead. The flight took 4 hours and 25 minutes, crossing over the stunning Indian Ocean. We landed at Velana International Airport (MLE), Male, around 1 pm local time. The view from the plane as we approached Male was breathtaking—clear blue waters and tiny islands dotting the ocean. After landing in Male, we headed to counter 13 for the Kaani Speed Boat service. It’s an efficient way to get from Male to nearby islands like Maafushi. We boarded at around 2 pm for ...
Welcome to our family's exciting journey through Perth, Western Australia! Join us as we uncover the hidden gems and must-see attractions of this vibrant city. Perth is also a great base for exploring other parts of Western Australia, such as Margaret River, a region known for its wine production and surfing. Fremantle, a historic port town with a bohemian vibe, and Pinnacles Desert, a surreal landscape of limestone pillars that rise from the sand. These were among the places we visited while in Perth. We were flying into Perth Airport with AirAsia in the morning, of course with a 'slight' delay. Immediately after passing the passport verification counter, we were checked by immigration. Unfortunately, some of our food items were confiscated, allegedly in violation of the rules... :-( Without delay, we went straight to the rental car counter located outside the building. The process of picking up a car is very easy and smooth. Since it was almost dark, we headed straight ...
