Eastern Australia Trip. Day 10 : Brisbane

Time was apparently envious of us. Second day in Brisbane was much of visited interesting places in the vicinity in the evening. My wife attended the ICCAE event at the Rydges Fortitude Valley after breakfast until the late of afternoon. Nu'man and I contended to walk around the neighborhood. There was an Old Museum, 100 meters away from our apartment, we was about to sightseeing. But not until I realized that it used to be a museum, now homed the Queensland Youth Orchestras. The old building was quite nice though.

Approaching the afternoon, I cooked for the lunch. Nu'man had almost that day in the swimming pool. He has got acquainted with the resident's kids while I watched the Winter Olympic Games held in Pyeongyang, South Korea. I got my chances to start blogging, even though I know it would took months to complete the 12-days visit to the eastern Australia.

Wahhh... seronok laa Nu'man dapat kawan baru

We then drove towards Holman Street and reach to the end of the Kangaroo's Point. It connected to the CBD through the Story Bridge. For those who dare to test out your adrenaline level, can try the Bridge Climbing, with the sunset view is recommended. We stopped at the Cliff Park

It used to be a meeting ground for the Aboriginal

My wife insisted to have Malaysian dishes for our dinner. After searching on the net, we found a Tandoor House, not far from the Kangaroo Point. It has a good rating, so we headed to Camp Hill, 7 km from the Cliff Park. We were greeted by the Penangites restaurant owner on we hoped in. We saw most of the tables were reserved, but no one in the restaurant. We decided to sit outside and ordered the naan bread with tandoori chicken. It's tastes...? Wonderful!

When we were finishing our meal, the restaurant already full house

Thinking of the same idea as what Zarin did in his wrapping up post, I'll do the same for the sake of my own record.  This post will be updated from time to time. Some of the trip may have a  specific write-up  and you may click on the travelling month. Here is the world travel map, courtesy of TripAdvisor. A bit of Statistics: Total countries visited = 22/195 [Last updated : September 2023] Our Travel Map. [Courtesy of TripAdvisor. According to them, we only covered 13% of the Earth at the moment :P .... still long way to go and we didn't show USA map as to when we will be there]

Shopping sakan di Langkawi

Kenangan bersama mak... Bulan januari yang lepas, rombongan keluarga Perak buat trip ke Melaka. Sekarang giliran keluarga Johor pulak pegi berjalan.. errr bershopping sakan di Langkawi. Kalau nak diikutkan, gambar tengah syiok bershopping lagi banyak.

Europe Trip. Day 5: Bruges & Ghent, Belgium

We opted for Bruges and Ghent trip by bus organized by Brussels City Tour . Avail one self of the green scenery along the journey that took about an hour to reach the city center. And nearing Bruges city center, we felt in love with the calm and serene neighborhood. Upon arrival, we were guided to a medieval bell tower known as Belfry of Bruges  from the backside before proceeded to Markt. It was a public square with a neo-gothical architecture of the Provinciaal Hof. We took our sweet time enjoying the view of the Markt.
