Eastern Australia Trip. Day 4 : Sydney - Gold Coast

Mak, can I fly this?
Original planned was to have coastal walk between Bronte and Bondi in the early morning, luckily we had done that on the first day, else we would be in rushed. It was really not a coastal walk, but we did spend that evening laying over the Bondi beach.

We took our sweet time with the breakfast and only arrived Sydney airport at 11 am, after the hotel checked-out (most of the hotels here have 10 am check-out policy). The flight, which was scheduled to depart in the afternoon, was delayed for an hour and half.  We spent almost 5 hours waiting in the airport and only arrived at Coolangatta airport, Gold Coast ten past 5 pm.

Looking for souvenirs
We had kebab's for lunch at the airport
Once again, the immigration process was fairly breezed as what we encountered at Sydney airport, apart that we had to passed through the red lane. That's because I've read and heard from friends that the checking process will be scrutinized especially when you brought dairy and poultry products.

After settled down getting the rental car that we pre-booked, we hurried to our apartment. Check-in should before 6 pm. We only arrived after the check-in time policy, however, apartment management left our room key in a deposit box of front desk. We just need to call the management to get the pass code.

The Shore Apartment located by the beach of Ocean Avenue, adjacent to the Surfer's Paradise, the most popular beach in Gold Coast. It was pretty free and easy activities, while nu'man getting wet in the pool that night.

Hyundai Accent served as well throughout our stays
This was my 3rd experience drove outside Malaysia

We booked an apartment with one bedroom
A white kitchen

Even the painting showed a nice beach

Journey Review

Thinking of the same idea as what Zarin did in his wrapping up post, I'll do the same for the sake of my own record.  This post will be updated from time to time. Some of the trip may have a  specific write-up  and you may click on the travelling month. Here is the world travel map, courtesy of TripAdvisor. A bit of Statistics: Total countries visited = 22/195 [Last updated : September 2023] Our Travel Map. [Courtesy of TripAdvisor. According to them, we only covered 13% of the Earth at the moment :P .... still long way to go and we didn't show USA map as to when we will be there]

Singapore Trip: A lion-city escapade

Watch out! It is a zika-free :P trip to the city of light that we had on the 2nd mid-term school holiday, apart from the 'balik kampung' to Ipoh and JB on both week end. My wife managed to secure a stay for 2 nights at the 'Rumah Peranginan Persekutuan' where it supposed to be a big family trip with my siblings.  It was a big vacation house, which I believe can cater at least 15-20 people. For some reasons, they had to turn it down. Note: Pictures taken are not in the best quality as I'm still get my hands on the new DSLR camera.. wink.. wink..

Shopping sakan di Langkawi

Kenangan bersama mak... Bulan januari yang lepas, rombongan keluarga Perak buat trip ke Melaka. Sekarang giliran keluarga Johor pulak pegi berjalan.. errr bershopping sakan di Langkawi. Kalau nak diikutkan, gambar tengah syiok bershopping lagi banyak.
