Eastern Australia Trip. Day 4 : Sydney - Gold Coast

Mak, can I fly this?
We had planned to walk the coast from Bronte to Bondi in the morning, but we did it on the first day, so we weren't rushed. It was really not a coastal walk, but we did spend that evening lying on Bondi Beach.

We leisurely enjoyed our breakfast and arrived at Sydney airport at 11 am, following our hotel check-out, as most hotels in this area have a 10 am check-out policy. The flight, which was scheduled to depart in the afternoon, was delayed for an hour and a half.  We spent almost 5 hours waiting in the airport and only arrived at Coolangatta Airport, Gold Coast, at ten past 5 pm.

Looking for souvenirs
We had kebab's for lunch at the airport
Once again, the immigration process was fairly breezy, as was what we encountered at Sydney Airport, except that we had to pass through the red lane. That's because I've read and heard from friends that the checking process will be scrutinized, especially when you bring dairy and poultry products.

We hurried to our apartment after settling down and picking up our pre-booked rental car. Check-in should be before 6 pm. We only arrived after the check-in time policy; however, apartment management left our room key in a deposit box at the front desk. We just need to call the management to get the passcode.

The Shore Apartment is located by the beach on Ocean Avenue, adjacent to Surfer's Paradise, the most popular beach on the Gold Coast. It was a pretty free and easy activity, while Nu'man got wet in the pool that night.

Hyundai Accent served us well throughout our stays
This was my 3rd experience drove outside Malaysia
